Meet Our Dedicated Team

At Care Assist Jamaica, we employ five types of staff: Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Uncertified Caregivers, Babysitters/Nannies, and Housekeepers.

We meticulously screen all agency employees through a comprehensive process to verify their qualifications, conduct background checks, and assess personality traits. This ensures that all staff members are fully qualified to provide exceptional service and meet the needs of our clients with professionalism and care.

Uncertified Caregivers: They provide assistance with activities of daily living but do not have formal training or certification in healthcare.

Practical Nurses (PN): Also known as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), they undergo formal training and education, typically completing a one-year program. They provide basic nursing care.

Registered Nurses (RN): RNs have completed a formal education program, typically a four-year bachelor’s degree, and have passed a national licensing exam. They have a broader scope of practice compared to PNs, including assessing patients, developing care plans, administering medications, and providing direct patient care.

Babysitters/Nannies: They provide specialized care for children, offering supervision, engaging in educational and recreational activities, and attending to the child’s daily needs. They create a safe and nurturing environment, often assisting with meal preparation, homework, and bedtime routines, supporting parents in managing their child’s well-being and development.

Housekeepers: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining residential or commercial spaces to ensure they are tidy, sanitary, and welcoming.
